Roat Trippin Again June 2017- Oregon and Washington Coast

First trip with our new wheels.

My old Toyota finally died with over 400K miles it was time to retire her.  Here is our new and improved 4 door Toyota Tacoma - "The Black Stallion" did a great job pulling our little Dream Inn along the Oregon and Washington Coast.

Got ourselves a sweet little site at the Sea Ranch Resort in Cannon Beach Oregon (without reservations).  Here we are enjoying beverages we picked up along the way at the Yachats Brewery in Yachats Oregon- definitely make a stop there if you get the chance.

Enjoyed some brunch with an amazing window seat view at the Wayfarer Restaurant and Lounge on Cannon Beach
Shiloh enjoyed how dog friendly Cannon Beach was

Here are some of the views from our short hike in Ecola State Park before getting back on the road and heading to Washington.

Made it to Olympia washington

Overnight detour to check out McCredie Hot Springs on the way home

On our way home we took a road less traveled and headed to check out McCredie Hot Springs in Oregon.  We pulled in late and found a sweet little Forest Service camp ground nearby called the Blue Pool Campground on Salt Creek, what a beautiful spot to wake up in the morning! The forest was so lush and green and the creek was just a few steps away from our campsite- what luck!
Our campsite- didn't even unhook it was such a short stay

  1. We restored a 1960 Mobile Scout and painted it pink. We live up in Shelton, WA. We should meet-up sometime and compare trailers. Come to one of the WA trailer rallies. Cheapswede
